VolksWagen dealers in North America sell a Bosch LSU4 wide band sensor for a ~$30. However this sensor is only inexpensive when purchased from North American sources. The Bosch part number is 0 258 007 057 or 0 258 007 058 (these are the same sensor, but they have leads of different length), and it can be purchased as a VW part number 021-906-262-B.
The LSU4 uses a six wire connector. The matching connector is VW part number 1JO-973-733 (~$2.92). The wire terminals are part numbers 000-797-133, 000-797-133A, and 000-797-225 (3 required, ~$2ea.).
You can buy Bosch LSU4 O2 sensors from www.1stvwparts.com using the VW part number. An application for this sensor is a 2002 VolksWagen GTI 1.8L, front O2 sensor.
The Bosch LSU 4 wideband sensor is used on a number of production vehicles. Their are variations of the LSU4 sensor connectors for other applications, but the wire colors remain the same. Where more than one part number is listed together below, they differ only by longer or shorter leads. Also check www.forparts.com for a list of vehicles that use the Bosch LSU4 wide band EGO sensors.

Note that most of these sensors have NOT been tested with the Precision Wideband Controller. Use part number 0 258 007 057 or 0 258 007 058 whenever possible.
